EPR registration in Spain, for the packaging category, requires an FNMT certificate, also known as the digital certificate.
The digital certificate is an approval application provided by the Spanish tax office which allows the director to sign documents electronically.

Key Info : Amazon pay the EPR contribution on behalf of non-Spanish companies who sell in Spain for batteries and packaging but not for the EEE category, effective from 31 12 2023. Spanish companies can only benefit from the pay on behalf system for batteries, not for packaging.
